The strip does the shouting
A dark promo strip above the hero carries the discount so the rest of the email can stay calm. Colour restraint still applies — flooding the whole surface in the discount colour makes the offer harder to read, not louder.

What's inside
Read off the file itself, not a spec sheet. This is the module order the download actually ships with, in the order a reader meets them.
Import
The download is a single HTML file. Here is where it goes in Klaviyo, what the platform expects, and which tags are already wired up.
Editing Klaviyo opens an imported HTML template in its own editor. Copy and images are editable there, and the underlying structure stays as generated, so the layout does not drift between sends.
Watch for Klaviyo rejects an import that carries no unsubscribe tag. This template already wraps {% unsubscribe_link %} in its footer link, so it imports as-is — if you rebuild the footer, keep that tag.
Klaviyo opens an imported template in its own editor, so the images can be swapped there without touching the HTML. Upload yours to Klaviyo first, then point each image block at it. Editing the file before you import works too — Klaviyo keeps whatever src it is given.

width="600"> How to use it
The case is a seasonal allocation, so the send is tied to summer and to the Sunday deadline in the strip, not to a general sale calendar. Go out at the start of the offer week, to case buyers and repeat customers, then send one reminder before the allocation closes. Wine narrows the audience for you: build the segment around regions you can legally ship to, or the offer is revenue you cannot deliver.
All three bottle images are still grey placeholders, so Reserve Chardonnay $45 struck to $38, Estate Pinot Noir $60 to $51 and Heritage Rosé $35 to $29 need real shots before this goes anywhere. The “Read the cellar notes →” link inside the “Curated for the season.” block points at /gifts while every other button points at the case page, so fix that path. Then set the twelve-bottle claim in the hero to your actual case count, confirm the 15% and the complimentary delivery in the strip, swap “CELLAR & VINE” and “Cellar & Vine” for your name and replace “Example address”.
The craft
A dark promo strip above the hero carries the discount so the rest of the email can stay calm. Colour restraint still applies — flooding the whole surface in the discount colour makes the offer harder to read, not louder.
One "Shop the sale" in the hero, repeated once after the product grid. Product tiles get an arrow-link and a price with a strikethrough, never their own button.
State the discount, the deadline and what is included. "Amazing" and "unbeatable" are adjectives a reader skips — a date and a percentage are not.
Or refine this
Generate your own with this template as a starting point. Change the colors, the voice, the offer — describe what you want different and the studio recomposes it. Apply your brand kit and ship in your tone, not the template's.
The download is yours either way.

Questions
Both. An imported template is available to any campaign or flow email you build afterwards. The trigger and the timing are configured on the flow itself, not in the template.
No. Template import is available on Klaviyo’s free tier, which covers up to 250 profiles. Removing Klaviyo’s own footer branding is the paid-plan feature, not the import.
Usually the opposite. A large decorative header delays the offer the reader is meant to act on and adds load time without meaning. Lead with the headline and the discount, and reserve imagery for visuals that carry the message.
Every zone sets its background twice — once as a bgcolor attribute and once as an inline background-color — which is the pattern that survives dark-mode inversion in clients that repaint backgrounds.
The “Order the summer case” button is a bulletproof VML button, so Outlook on Windows draws a real filled button instead of collapsing it to a bare text link.
The layout is a 600px table backbone with a mobile breakpoint, and the CSS is already inlined for the clients that strip style blocks.
